August 30, 2025 — Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign striker Nicolas Jackson on an initial season-long loan, in a deal that could be worth up to €80 million if the buy option is triggered.
According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the Bavarian giants will pay a €15 million loan fee for the 24-year-old forward. The agreement includes a non-mandatory buy option clause, allowing Bayern to secure Jackson permanently for an additional package valued at around €80 million, alongside a sell-on clause in favor of Chelsea.

Jackson, who joined Chelsea from Villarreal in 2023, has shown flashes of brilliance in the Premier League but struggled with consistency. Bayern see him as a dynamic attacking option to bolster their frontline following recent squad adjustments.
The Senegalese striker is expected to fly to Bavaria with his agent Ali Barat of Epic Sports to finalize the deal and undergo medical tests before the official announcement.
If completed, the move would mark another major exit from Stamford Bridge this summer as Chelsea continue their restructuring under new management, while Bayern aim to strengthen their attacking depth in pursuit of Bundesliga and Champions League glory.
