Apple is gearing up for the official launch of the iPhone 17 series tonight, and all eyes are on a brand-new model — the iPhone 17 Air.
Touted as the slimmest iPhone ever, the Air is expected to measure between 5.5mm and 6.25mm thick, undercutting even the iPhone 6, which was once considered remarkably slim at 6.9mm. Despite its ultra-thin profile, the device is rumored to feature a 6.6-inch display, positioning it between the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max in terms of size.
Weighing in at about 145 grams, the iPhone 17 Air would also be among the lightest Apple smartphones in recent years, reminiscent of the compact iPhone 13 mini.
With Apple insiders billing the iPhone 17 Air as a “completely new addition to the family,” anticipation is running high. Analysts say the design could redefine Apple’s smartphone lineup by combining portability with cutting-edge display technology.
