Bantama, Ashanti Region – The Member of Parliament for Bantama, Francis Asenso Boakye, has officially unveiled a new party office to support the daily administrative and political functions of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency.
Described as a “symbol of unity, grassroots empowerment, and effective party organization,” the facility reflects Bantama’s reputation as a stronghold of the NPP in the Ashanti Region.
The commissioning ceremony drew a notable crowd of party stalwarts, including former presidents Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and John Agyekum Kufuor, alongside supporters and constituency executives.
Former President Kufuor praised the project, noting in a lighthearted remark, “Though we have a party headquarters, I must admit that this building is actually finer than the headquarters.”
Meanwhile, ex-President Akufo-Addo lauded the office as a symbol of the NPP’s enduring strength in the region and urged party members to remain united and committed. “Bantama has always been a strong pillar of our party, and this new office will only deepen that role,” he said.
The modern facility provides space for administrative work, meetings, and party mobilization, positioning it as a hub for political activity in the constituency.
Bantama MP Francis Asenso Boakye expressed gratitude to constituents and party delegates, noting that the office is a gesture of appreciation for their unwavering support. He highlighted Bantama as the only constituency in the country where the NPP won all polling stations in the 2024 elections, underscoring the area’s political significance.
“The NPP won in every single polling station in the constituency in the last elections. This office is in appreciation of the enormous support shown me in the competitive parliamentary primaries over the last eight years,” Asenso Boakye stated.
The new office is expected to enhance coordination, grassroots engagement, and overall party organization, further cementing Bantama’s status as a powerhouse of the NPP.
