Shatta Wale’s Detention Sparks Massive Protest as SM Fans Storm EOCO Headquarters
A crowd of Shatta Wale’s loyal supporters, popularly known as the SM fans, gathered at the offices of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) to protest the detention of the dancehall artiste.
The fans, dressed in branded Shatta Movement outfits, chanted songs in his honor and demanded his immediate release. According to them, the continued detention of the star over his luxury Lamborghini saga is unfair and targeted.
Some protesters carried placards with inscriptions such as “Free Wale Now”, “EOCO Hands Off Shatta”, and “Stop Targeting Our King.”
The demonstration caused heavy traffic around EOCO’s premises, with police present to maintain order and prevent escalation.

EOCO had earlier confirmed that Shatta Wale was being investigated over allegations surrounding his luxury vehicles, particularly his recently acquired Lamborghini Urus.
Despite the tension, the SM fans vowed to continue their protests until their leader is freed, insisting that Shatta Wale is innocent of the allegations.
