GoldBod Donates GHS 5 Million and Five Pickups to Boost Government’s Anti-Galamsey Drive
The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has made a significant injection of support into Ghana’s fight against illegal mining, donating GHS 5 million and five Toyota Hilux pickup vehicles to the National Anti-Illegal Mining Operations Secretariat (NAIMOS). The announcement was made by GoldBod’s Chief Executive Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, at the Mining and Minerals Convention held in Accra on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
