Moses Foh-Amoaning: “Otto Addo Is Unfit to Lead the Black Stars”
Moses Foh-Amoaning, a member of the 2014 Dzamefe Commission of Inquiry, has launched a strong criticism of Black Stars head coach Otto Addo, declaring him “unfit” for the national team role. The comments came during an appearance on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
Foh-Amoaning argued that Otto Addo’s skill set leans more toward scouting than management, saying he’s still “learning on the job” and likening his current role to national service. He claims this gap in lead competency is why the Ghana Football Association (GFA) felt compelled to bring in German coach Winfried Schäfer as a technical advisor.
Despite Addo’s critics, the Black Stars are sitting at the top of Group I with 19 points in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, and look to consolidate their position in upcoming matches against Central African Republic and Comoros. The Ghana Guardian News+1
