Trader Arraigned for Wearing Military Uniform at 37 Military Hospital
A trader has been arraigned before court for allegedly wearing a military uniform to impress a nurse at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
The accused is said to have posed as a member of the Ghana Armed Forces in an attempt to win the affection of a nurse working at the facility. However, his actions reportedly led to his arrest and subsequent prosecution.
The case has drawn public attention, raising concerns about impersonation, security breaches, and misuse of military attire.
According to reports, the trader allegedly acquired and wore a Ghana Armed Forces uniform without authorization. His intention, prosecutors say, was to appear as a military officer to impress a nurse he admired at the 37 Military Hospital.
However, his appearance reportedly raised suspicion among genuine military personnel and security officers at the facility.
Subsequent checks are said to have revealed that he was not a serving member of the armed forces. He was therefore arrested and handed over to authorities for further investigation.
